Glass Animals … “Exuding a contagious enthusiasm”

Glass Animals are an English indie rock band from Oxford. The group released their debut album Zaba in June 2014 which incredibly brought the band over 53 million streams on Spotify in 2015.

The band have been steadily building a strong following and been touring internationally over the past few years featuring on line ups at festivals such as, Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Reading/Leeds and Bestival. Their October 2015 US tour included two sold out shows in LA and NYC, in fact, they played over 130 shows in 2015 alone.

They’re on the Electric Picnic lineup for anyone heading to Stadbally this year plus they’ve just released a date at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre with tickets currently on sale.

Their new album ‘How to be a Human Being’ is out on the 26th of August and current track ‘Life Itself’ is getting quite a bit of airplay at present, go check it out.

GAVIN JAMES – “His voice is absolutely astounding”

Gavin James, singer songwriter from Dublin has already won the Choice Music Prize 2013 (Ireland’s answer to the Mercury) for ‘Song of the Year’ and his debut EP ‘Say Hello’ remained on the Irish chart for over 6 months.

Gavin has an exceptional voice and songwriting ability and lists his influences s the likes of Damien Rice, Ray Lamontagne and Ray Charles. His rise in his home market, has gained him sell out headline dates across Ireland and support tours with acts such as Marina & the Diamonds, Ingrid Michaelson, Kodaline, Nouvelle Vague, Beth Orton, Lianne La Havas.

Gavin sold out Whelans in 2014 and the show was recorded and released as live EP, available now.

He has date in the Olympia Theatre, Dublin in March and has recently been announced as one of the featured artists at 2015’s Sea Sessions Festival Bundoran, joining the likes of Seasick Steve on the lineup.

Laura Marling – New Material and New Irish Tour Dates

25 year old Laura Marling releases her fifth album ‘Short Movie’ on March 20th with tough shoes to follow. Her debut album Alas, I Cannot Swim, her second album I Speak Because I Can, and her fourth album Once I Was An Eagle were all nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2008, 2010, and 2013, respectively.

Having previously won Best Female Solo Artist at the 2011 Brit Awards, she was nominated for the same award at the 2012 and 2014 BRIT Awards.

Laura will play the Olympia, Dublin, on May 7th and the Waterfront Hall, Belfast, on May 8th.
